Ape mad

Henry had another chance this year to repeat his Gold Cup success, playing for the all English Apes Hill team.
"Set up by Sir Charles 'Cow' Williams, the well know Barbadian construction magnate and polo enthusiast, who having seen last years Gold Cup was disappointed that not one English player made it to the final. He vowed there and then to do something about it. He would sponsor a team and ensure he had four of the most talented young English players in it" (Higgins, L. 2007)
The team consisted of Ed Hitchman, Tom Morley, Luke Tomlinson (capt) and his brother Mark - who having injured his himself would now have to sit out the rest the tournament. At the 11th hour, Henry stepped in to save the day as Mark's replacement.
Sadly, Apes Hill narrowly missed getting their hands on the Tatham Cup having lost it to Cadenza by a 1 goal difference.
