Brett Polo dons a toga for the evening
No self respecting Roman would be seen dead without his toga and his trusted chariot stead. Indeed a fitting acknowledgement to the banqueting gods would not be complete without the presence of chariot horses, and that’s precisely how Brett Polo got in on the action at The Button Club’s Fall of Rome Feast.
Pausing between mouthfuls of grapes (decadence was partially to blame for the fall of Rome) party goers from The Button Club where fascinated to see a selection of Brett Polo’s finest mares grazing gracefully outside Beauberry House, South West London.
Not our usually day out of the stables but a lot of frolicking and fun was had by all, so our thanks to The Button Club and its members who we look forward to greeting at the Polo School over the next month to take advantage of their special members discount.
